Full Job Description
We're currently seeking a driven and experienced Consumer Duty Product Owner to join our team at AXA Commercial on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract. You'll own and coordinate a roadmap of activities crucial for ensuring our Commercial business's compliance with Consumer Duty Regulation. You'll play a pivotal role in influencing priorities, building consensus, and developing investment cases for business change. With a robust background in regulatory and compliance change, along with a comprehensive understanding of the Consumer Duty and its application in General Insurance, you'll possess exceptional communication and influencing skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership. At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, moving to the majority of your working week from September 2025. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. What you'll be doing:
- Review changes to FCA Consumer Duty regulation, revised guidance and developing industry practice and support business to translate into action plans.
- Liaise between AXA's Risk, Commercial Change and the Commercial business helping the business put together short and long term roadmaps of strategic Consumer Duty requirements tied to the 24-28 strategy and initiatives.
- Develop and lead Consumer Duty Maturity assessments, supporting executive owners of Consumer Duty pillars to self-assess.
- Maintain the AXA Commercial roadmap of Consumer Duty related business projects and BAU activities.
- Work with business to ensure actions have accountable owners and named persons responsible for delivery.
- Prepare input to UK Second line Quarterly Consumer Duty Board Updates and prepare Monthly MC reporting.
- Act as the point of contact for FCA requested Audit of Consumer Duty action plans.
- Oversight of Vulnerable Customer project including support in mobilisation, resourcing, scoping and establish governance and working groups.

- Consumer Duty regulation understanding and implementation experience in complex organisations with geographically dispersed employees.
