We currently have a permanent part-time 18.5 hours Contact Officer vacancy supporting the Hospital Social Work Teams., You will undertake business support activities within the Hospital Social Work service providing support to the team in meeting client and customer requirements, in line with organisational standards and procedures., Durham County Council currently operates a hybrid working policy where a model of 2 days in the workplace and 3 days at home/remote will apply. This model is pro-rated for part time roles and arrangements are at managers discretion, alternatively you can work all of your contracted hours within the workplace if you prefer. This is a busy but interesting role; applicants must be able to work under pressure and be able to plan and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines and timescales., You should hold a BTEC Higher in Public Administration or NVQ4 in Business Administration or relevant equivalent and have experience in an administrative/financial setting together with excellent IT, communication and organisational skills.

The role covers all areas North, South and East, and the post can be located either within the Council Offices in Front Street, Chester le Street, or within Spectrum 8, Seaham plus hybrid working.
