Full Job Description

Reporting to the Editor-in-Chief, as Content Editor, Social at Shortlist you'll be producing and posting social media content for key mens' lifestyle topics. The Content Editor will be expected to cultivate, maintain and grow social media audiences across platforms including TikTok, Instagram, X, Threads, Facebook, Flipboard and any emerging channels. You'll be sourcing, writing and editing a selection of stories around key mens' lifestyle topics each week, and build out posting schedules and style guides for each platform, and develop recognisable short form video franchises.

  • Experience with photo editing applications such as Photoshop and Canva
  • Experienced in building social media audiences across Instagram and TikTok
  • Being comfortable in front of the camera, presenting experience is not essential but advantageous
  • Ability to spot viral trends, and how to present them for different audiences across varied social media platforms
  • Knowledge of mens' lifestyle topics, including but not limited to tech, music, fashion, entertainment, gaming, grooming, travel and nightlife.
