Full Job Description

The Content, SEO & Social Manager is responsible for developing and executing integrated strategies that enhance the brand's online presence, drive traffic, and engage target audiences. This role involves creating high-quality, optimized content, managing SEO efforts to improve organic search rankings, and overseeing social media channels to boost brand awareness and engagement. The manager tracks and analyses performance metrics, collaborates with cross-functional teams, and stays updated on industry trends to implement innovative marketing tactics, ensuring cohesive and impactful digital marketing campaigns. Providing regular cadence and reporting against key campaign metrics. Planning and measurements:

  • Support the Marketing Manager for their designated brand to build out quarterly campaigns and make recommendations for amplifications across key channels.
  • Staying updated on industry trends, competitor positioning, emerging technologies, and best practices for b2b content curation.
  • Ownership of reporting for the website & organic LinkedIn.
  • Provide regular reports on SEO metrics, including CTR, organic traffic to site & keyword rankings.
  • Content:
  • Following key campaign objectives, recommend topics, themes, narratives and formats to support a campaign.
  • Build and optimise net-new content to support a considered SEO strategy to position us competitively within the space.
  • Work with SME's to build out top-of-funnel thought leadership as part of wider campaign delivery. Manage timelines with SMEs and support in the positioning of content to ensure SEO optimisation and a consistent TOV.
  • Day-to-day management of their brands site, content upload & on-going optimisation. Work with the marketing activations team to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Support in the development of key documents for their respective brand e.g. TOV guidelines and proposition messaging frameworks.
  • Social media:
  • Own the strategy and execution for all organic social media channel activity for their brand, analysing performance and making recommendations to improve organic growth.
  • Monitor and manage interactions with followers.
  • SEO:
  • Track and analyse SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
  • Conduct thorough keyword research to identify high-value keywords and phrases; continuously refreshing website content for optimal performance.
  • The top line KPIs for this role will include:
  • Impressions & reach, following growth of our organic channels
  • Traffic increase, time on page and lead form submissions for web content
  • Number of MQLs which convert to a valid SQL per piece of content
  • To deliver successfully upon these KPIs, this role will successfully:
  • Propose and trial different methods of engagement on social media to promote organic growth.
  • Track the performance of content marketing efforts and make recommendations to adjust strategies to improve ROI.
  • Continuously review and modify keywords and phrases for optimised performance.
  • Support the marketing manager in reviewing campaign performance metrics and adjust strategy accordingly for optimal results.
  • Research and recommend key industry trends and areas of specialism to produce full-funnel content.
  • Manage and maintain timelines, keeping key stakeholders accountable and on-track.
