Full Job Description

We are looking to recruit a full-time administrator to join the Continuing Care Administration Team. The role is a 7 days per week service, including all Bank Holidays it is anticipated that the post holder will work 4/7 days on a rota system to ensure the service is covered.

The post holder will be a key member of the Administration Team, supporting the delivery of Continuing Care service requirements, ensuring the delivery of high quality and effective services., This is a post responsible for the day to day administration duties for the All Age Continuing Care Team. The post holder will provide a comprehensive administrative and business support to the department.

The post holder will have excellent office administration and organisational skills with previous experience of working in a busy office environment are desirable for this position. Advanced data inputting skills and knowledge of Microsoft office packages is also essential.

The post holder will be required to have highly-developed interpersonal skills and a team-based approach to problem-solving as well as enthusiasm.

The post holder will ideally be flexible, self-motivated and be able to manage competing priorities, must be competent at managing own workload and be able to demonstrate proactivity and initiative. Previous NHS experience is desirable but not essential., The post holder will first point of contact for the department, dealing with routine and specialist enquiries and queries in a pleasant and helpful manner. Excellent administration and communication skills are required. The post holder must have the ability to work unsupervised, on their own initiative whilst under pressure, always maintaining a professional empathetic approach.

The post holder will need to be well organised, able to multitask, prioritise workload and possess excellent interpersonal skills. To operate within the teams systems and act as part of a wider administration team.

This post may include training of other staff members and knowledge transfer.

The successful candidate will be a consummate team player possessing excellent written and verbal skills with an eye for detail and demonstrate proficient keyboard/computer skills.
