Full Job Description

The Continuous Improvement Lead is responsible for delivering organisational initiatives while partnering with cross-functional leadership and team members to reach targeted business and operational goals through Lean Six Sigma continuous improvement techniques.,

  • Lead and inspire the C.I. team to deliver value, be visible and drive commercial success by delivering cross functional continuous improvement initiatives with benefits.

  • Deploy and manage the delivery of a continuous improvement resource and road-map that includes appropriate project selection & prioritisation to meet strategic objectives.

  • Work with process owners to understand cross functional dependencies and remove barriers fostering collaborative ways of working.

  • Work with Business Intelligence teams to ensure availability of key data to support CI projects and process management.

  • Identify opportunities for improvement aligned to business priorities, develop project plan for implementation and monitor new processes to ensure they deliver the intended benefit and OKR's.

  • Drive cost savings through vigorous delivery of a Lowell C.I. culture through proactive delivery of Lean principles and become an ambassador of best practice and what good looks like.

  • Coach, mentor, and train colleagues on a range of Lean Six Sigma skills to build continuous improvement capability to improve processes across the UK business, supporting the attainment of externally recognised qualifications.

    Be Lean Six Sigma Black Belt accredited (essential)

  • Have demonstrable experience delivering CI initiatives, ideally within a matrix organisation.

  • Developed and led a team of CI specialists, ideally improving visibility, communication and organisational impact.

  • Demonstrate strong organisation skills, can solve complex business problems whilst focusing on customer and commercial outcomes that drive business results.
