Full Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a diligent administrator to be part of our Contracts & Commercial team supporting the Collins Aerospace Actuation Systems business. You will have extensive Microsoft skills & a keen eye for detail. The successful candidate will support a portfolio of military and civil contracts with international customers. They will work closely with the Actuation Systems Contract Officer and Managers as well as the Business Development and Programme Management functions to provide competitive advantage whilst meeting contractual obligations. What will your day-to-day responsibilities look like?

  • Creating and maintaining contracts records and entries in the contracts register.
  • Maintaining a sales price database for use by Commercial and Finance.
  • Carrying out audits of the Contracts & Commercial work instructions and processes to ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures, including overseeing any remedial actions.
  • Drafting of customer facing letters under the supervision of a Contract Officer/Manager.
  • Contract review and compiling contract summaries via a contract flow down document.
  • Contract management, including support to programme teams and proposal responses under the supervision of a Commercial Manager.
  • Compiling departmental measures of performance. Manage access to customer portals such as Exostar.
  • Update and maintain the signature authority matrix.
  • Supporting continuous improvement activities across the function.
  • Creating and maintaining a 'One Actuation' document register and repository.
  • Focal for Contracts ad hoc activities including, but not limited to portal administration, SharePoint sites, customer point of contact.

    Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential as are good preparation and planning skills.
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Office programmes including Excel, Word and Powerpoint.

  • An attention to detail and methodical approach, together with good problem solving and negotiation ability.
