Full Job Description
Reporting to the Technical Manager, the Asset & Compliance Manager will be responsible for ensuring our Client's Estate is compliant with all statutory obligations. This will be achieved by a robust programme of compliance measurement that the Asset and Compliance Manager will be accountable for. The role also has responsibility for compiling and maintaining a complete Asset Register that is complimented by and works with the planned preventative maintenance programme. The Asset and Compliance manager will also undertake regular reviews of high-risk compliance areas, including asbestos, fire risk, fixed wiring, gas installations and water hygiene. The post holder will be required toporovide regular written reports to the Senior Management Team.,
- Provide a robust program of compliance measurement in respect of Statutory Compliance, identifying corrective actions and implement follow up assessments.
- To develop and establish accurate asset data sets for the Contract's estate portfolio.
- Support a strong safety culture across the account ensuring we meet our legal requirements and obligations in Statutory Compliance and Health & Safety
- Provide advice to operational teams by managing, maintaining, and implementing standards and procedures so that the contract is in line with current legislative requirements
- Ensure asset data held in Maximo is up to date and accurate and provides status and condition of plant and equipment.
- Assist in the development of lifecycle planning applications and submissions
- Aligning preventative maintenance requirements and supporting the issuing and distribution of tasks in line with SFG20
- Approval of updates and amendments to Maximo ensuring efficient and accurate reporting
- Prepare monthly reports, for outlining current compliance and any gaps, risks and issues, complete with a program to address any highlighted concerns
- Maintaining the online compliance documentation platform
- Liaise with operational teams to ensure compliant, safe and sufficient delivery of services through third party sub-contractors
Competency and understanding of Statutory & Mandatory engineering compliance - Minimum 3 - 5 years' experience working within a Building Services or Facilities Management
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- IT Literate - Microsoft Office package
- Asset Management background and experience
- Planned Preventative Maintenance Planning & Integration
- Knowledge of Maximo or similar CAFM systems.
- SFG20 competency and understanding
- Negotiating and Influencing skills
- Familiar with internal audit reviews, Minimum of ONC or equivalent in an Electrical or Mechanical engineering discipline.
- NEBOSH NGC 1 - 3 or Similar
- Knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001, 14001, 18001
