Full Job Description

Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council spends around £200 million per year buying in a diverse range of goods, works and services to deliver the ambitious plans we have for our borough and its residents. This is a busy and rewarding role that involves managing a variety of contracts to ensure service outcomes and value for money are achieved. You will be allocated a portfolio of contracts requiring differing level of contract management based on the nature and complexity of the contract You will be responsible for monitoring contract performance, contract risk and contract expenditure to ensure providers deliver excellent services and meet the outcomes agreed to in the contract. You will also be required to develop and maintain partnerships between providers and internal council departments to ensure contract performance is met. This will include monitoring data including social value delivered, KPI and management data, and ensuring meetings and actions are documented and communicated effectively.
