Full Job Description

  • Lead the team to deliver municipal contracts, which include Collection & Street Cleansing in line with defined contract KPIs and specifications.
  • Develop and maintain relations with key stakeholders and manage resources to the best effect, prioritising the wellbeing of our people and service to our customers and communities.
  • Ensure compliance against the Veolia Minimum Requirements standard, supporting assurance checks and improvement planning to enhance contract performance and customer service.
  • Utilise data to improve operational performance, set and present budgets & manage monthly financial performance.
  • Maintain a compliant and well run fleet of vehicles.
  • Seek efficiencies to maximise contract performance, whilst leading the team and maintaining a visible presence for employees both onsite and on rounds.
  • Implement people management processes and procedures in line with company policy.
  • Ensure training and competency checks are in place for all roles.

    Experience of leading and developing a team.
  • Previous waste management & fleet management experience.
  • Multi-faceted Stakeholder relationship management experience, including Clients, Contractors and members of the public.
  • IOSH Managing Safely/NEBOSH.
  • Level 5 Leadership & Management or equivalent work experience - desirable.
  • Transport CPC - desirable.
