Full Job Description
- Lead the team to deliver Municipal Waste/Grounds Maintenance/Street Cleansing contracts, in line with defined contract KPI's and specifications.
- Ensure compliance against Veolia standards, supporting assurance checks and improvement planning to enhance contract performance and customer service.
- Ensure a safe delivery of a first time collection culture whilst managing people and assets to deliver/exceed service expectations.
- Maintain a compliant and well run fleet of vehicles.
- Set and present budgets whilst managing the monthly financial performance.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including clients, residents, staff and unions.
- Manage resources including people, fleet and equipment to the best effect whilst prioritising the wellbeing of our people and service to our customers and communities.
- Lead the team and maintain a visible presence for employees whilst on site and on the rounds, challenging behaviours to ensure safety is maintained., We know how important it is to be fully committed to building and maintaining a diverse and inclusive place to work for every one of our colleagues. Previous waste management & grounds maintenance experience. - Previous experience of senior contract management and negotiations with blue chip companies or Local Authorities.
- Previous experience managing and developing a team.
- Strong business acumen with good financial management skills.
- IOSH Managing Safely
- Transport CPC is desirable.
