Full Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic Contract Manager to organise and supervise a new contract in accordance with and to the standards required by Compass Group UK & Ireland and the client. To provide exceptional Foodservice and Support Service solutions to our clients that exceed customer requirements, whilst delivering key financial targets and contract specifications. The Contract Manager will develop and lead the team, as well as manage client and contractual relationships in a commercial manner, ensuring compliance and in line with net growth and retention targets. Key responsibilities

  • Understand and deliver all contractual terms
  • Communicate any on site client changes to line manager.
  • Communicate regularly with client (as agreed)
  • Action plans are completed following client satisfaction surveys
  • Analyse and manage effectively all in unit costs.
  • Monitor and manage GP
  • Ensure cost and sales records are accurately inputted and maintained
  • All food wastage is recorded and minimised
  • Ensure all customer requirements are communicated to all departments in advance to ensure effective planning
  • Complete labour schedule within the labour budget
  • Effectively minimise any agency and overtime spend
  • Adjust labour schedule in line with sales
  • Taking reasonable care for your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by what you do or what they fail to do.
  • Implement all relevant HSE procedures within the unit and review them as appropriate.

    Senior management experience leading and inspiring operational teams, working within brand guidelines to deliver results.
  • Developed and led the implementation of change programme to deliver operational benefits.
  • Experience in highly commercial and price-sensitive markets
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Significant experience at a senior management level
  • Experience in managing complex and multiple stakeholder relationships.
  • Demonstrable financial acumen
  • Excellent management skills & ability to demonstrate change management through a team.
  • Have a proven track record of client/customer satisfaction.
  • IT & computer literate
  • Track record of growing sales and retaining business
  • Desirable
  • Catering, facilities management, or retail background
  • Experience in managing contract catering delivery.
  • Self-motivated and able to adapt to a changing environment.
  • Project / Change management experience
