Salary £27269 - £30060 Per annum | Temporary 7 month contract| Full Time, 37 hours per week | Lancashire, Countywide (with remote/home working too)

We are delighted to be able to offer the role of Contract Monitoring Officer who has the responsibility of monitoring contracts with commissioned service providers for Public Health services, that support the citizens of Lancashire.
The role will be responsible for assisting the Contract Assurance Officers with the management of an allocated portfolio of contracts and alerting the Contract Assurance Officer of escalated provider performance and contractual issues.
The team has the responsibility for receiving and analysing intelligence regarding service providers commissioned by Lancashire County Council. The team also conducts on site monitoring exercises and contract review meetings, to enable them to make informed decisions on contract performance and the quality of care and service that is being delivered, addressing poor performance where necessary.
The post is ordinarily based in County Hall, Preston however there will also be remote home working. Due to this you must be able to use your own initiative and be flexible with where you work. There will be a requirement for team members to travel across the area/county as required.
Passion - We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual who has experience of working within a team and who may also have experience of Social Care Commissioning and Finance systems. You must be capable of gaining an understanding of contract compliance and contract monitoring processes.
Challenge - You will have a positive attitude with well developed interpersonal skills, which will be used to build and maintain relationships and influence both internal and external stakeholders. Whilst also ensuring a high standard of performance using analytical, dispute resolution and mediation skills.
Knowledge and Experience - You will have experience of using Microsoft ICT systems. You will also have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Salary: £27269 - £30060 Per annum
