Full Job Description
The role of Contract Officer is part of the Contract Compliance Team and is responsible for ensuring Adult Social Care providers meet Thurrock Council's contractual standards.
This role manages the performance of individual contracts for Adult Social Care providers, including undertaking contract compliance visits feeding back to providers, commissioners and operational staff and to develop actions plans where required and monitor those action plans; to assist providers in improving the quality of the service they provide through any identified shortfalls in services.
To visit the service users in their homes, or in residential homes, to monitor the quality of care being delivered, this includes undertaking service user satisfaction questionnaires and evaluations of the adequacy of the care package.
To produce detailed monitoring reports using various IT systems.
To investigate and help resolve complaints, regarding commissioned services, from both Adult Social Care providers and service users.
You will work alongside colleagues within Thurrock Council, along with internal and external providers of Adult Social Care services.
You will become part of pro-active, fast-paced team, where we provide the opportunity for you to grow and develop.
