Contract Technician

The Play and Parks Infrastructure team within the Parks, Open Spaces and Cemeteries service is responsible for managing all aspects of play and infrastructure within the borough' blue and green assets. This responsibility includes both capital and revenue works, and compliance in relation to play and infrastructure., Organise the issue of works instructions linked to play inspection defects.

Prioritise instructions based on risk analysis and budget parameters.

Perform Quality control inspections, which allow for forecasting of parks infrastructure works.

Essential Experience Required:

Experienced in providing analytical updates to service leads, public and political officers on project performance

Experience in monitoring contractor performance against specification and service level agreements and taking necessary intervention as and when required.

Hold a relevant qualification in contract management / project management
