Full Job Description

  • Provide support to the management & sales team, including filing, photocopying scanning.

  • Greet visitors, answer phone calls, and respond to inquiries in a professional manner.

  • Creating & maintaining accurate documents including staff training records, vehicle fleet information and new starter information.

  • Responsible for all office inventory including stationery, PPE, uniform, and kitchen supplies.

  • Financial administration including contacting debtors, checking credit card reports and working closely with the finance team on a variety of financial procedures., This role is based in our Gateshead office. We are pleased to say that our Gateshead office will be going through a period of renovation of the coming weeks/months to ensure our growing team have a first class office to call home.

    You will be a confident individual with excellent IT and literacy skills as well as being a positive communicator via telephone. The role will involve regular contact with customers which from time to time will involve professionally pursuing overdue payments or handling complaints, therefore it is important that you have experience in dealing with such matters or you are confident in your ability to engage with customers regardless of the situation., Strong communication abilities both verbal and written.

  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office most notably Word, Excel & Outlook.

  • Excellent organisation & time management skills.

  • Ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn & adapt.

    We are looking to appoint a Contracts Administrator to join our friendly, long-standing team at Bagnalls Painting & Decorators in Gateshead


  • This role is being advertised due to the ongoing expansion of the Gateshead team and we are seeking a person who is looking for an administration role that can provide them with longevity and job satisfaction.
    We are a tight knit team who enjoy working in a welcoming office environment and you will be working alongside our experienced team members., Bagnalls is a leading, family-owned, painting contractor, established in 1875, with 14 branches across the UK.

    We are committed to the long-term development of our staff and are proud that the management team have clocked up an average length of service of 24 years.

    This is a 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday role that we are pleased to offer on a permanent basis.

    Salary
    From £25k+ - Plus Benefits and discretionary annual bonus.
