Full Job Description
- Assisting in the management of contracts and supplier relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials.
- Supporting the procurement process, monitoring supplier performance, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
- Recording, analysing, and maintaining accurate data to support management decisions.
- Producing reports and insights to improve supply chain efficiency and sustainability.
- Collaborating with key stakeholders to facilitate smooth communication and operations.
- Contributing to the achievement of Network Rails business objectives by optimizing material supply and recycling processes., · Support the management of supply chain contracts to achieve the most cost effective delivery of goods and services.
- Strong organisational and data management skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- A proactive, problem-solving attitude with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, to support data analysis.
- A desire to grow and develop within the rail industry., · Proven ability to work to tight deadlines and mandated processes with a high level of accuracy
· Collate data on all transactions incurred in delivering contracts. Investigate and reconcile transactions and costs as part of an end to end process
· Develop effective relationships with customers and suppliers. Develop and maintain processes for effective query resolution
· Support the team as required, to deliver a comprehensive service to the business areas.
· Provide data, analysis and commentary for management reports.
· Assist in supporting the timely collection of business unit commercial information and payment of business unit creditors.
· Assist in identification and implementation of quality and efficiency improvement initiatives.
