Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Contract Assistant to join our expanding, positive, caring, and ambitious Account Management and Service Delivery Departments. This role will play a key and active part in the Account Managing and Service Delivery Departments. The role will involve coordinating and assisting on contracts in the local area (Oxfordshire), whilst working closely with our team of experienced Account Managers to ensure success on all service points and absolute customer satisfaction. Your role:

  • Providing support for the Account Manager to include administration, asset & task management, contract renewals & reviews and generating quotes & tasks from Account Manager and client requests
  • Coordinating with the Engineering Supervisor to ensure that all PPM/ reactive works have been planned accordingly as per scheduling agreement and relevant contract
  • Contact all sites that require prior notice, and confirm the engineer's attendance date and time & update engineer's planner accordingly
  • Job Management / Processing tasks completed by the engineers for the assigned contract into the correct Level of Completion
  • Raise relevant paperwork and maintain up to date information on the department's computer system Opuz (SMS' internal works management system)
  • Deal with ad-hoc client enquiries
  • Liaise with customers, keeping the customer constantly updated during all stages of the service delivery, including uploading data to client portals where necessary

  • Ability to pass Disclosure and Barring Service clearance (DBS check)
  • Desirable:
  • Experience in a field services delivery role (e.g. mobile Engineers), transport or Logistics environment
  • Previous experience in planning or scheduling resources
