Full Job Description

The temporary Contracts Coordinator role will be for a minimum of 6 months, and the purpose is to manage andcoordinateall aspects of Field Service Engineer mobilisations, customer support, and supplier management to ensure efficient service delivery. This includes preparing quotations, scheduling, invoicing, and maintaining up-to-date financial and project information. Additionally, the role provides essential support to the Customer Services team and Account Managers, contributing to the smooth operation of aftermarket activities andsupportingvarious administrative and customer-focused tasks.,

  • Supportingall aspects of Aftermarket related activities for our Customers; this includes Combined Heat and Power (CHP),Field Services and Parts Tendering.
  • Coordinateall aspects of the mobilisation and utilisation of the CHP Field Service Engineers (FSE's) at Howden Turbo UK Ltd.
  • Take a pro-active role in the management of suppliers that provide goods and services to the Field Service Team. Ensure that sub-contractors perform as agreed and comply with safety and insurance requirements. Achieve the best possible value for money.
  • Provide essential support during times of peak load and when other team members are on holiday to provide customers with quotations for spare parts, managing triage process and following up on quotes with customers.
  • Coordinateall aspects of FSE training, both internal and external. This includes the development and management of a skills and training matrix for each FSE within the team.

    Previous experience working in customer focussed environment.
  • Experience of planning and co-ordinating the work of a team.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multi-task in a fast paced environment.
  • A good knowledge of Microsoft Office products, in particular the use of Excel.
  • Robust administrative skills to manage and process documentation within the required timeframes.
  • Good commercial acumen.
  • Knowledge and experience working with financial processes/systems
