Full Job Description

The External Funding & Contracts function procures and manages all of the college's subcontracted delivery, identifies funding opportunities, supports the college to prepare strong proposals to secure external funding, and works with curriculum and support departments to ensure the effectively delivery of funded projects and programmes. The function has had a particularly successful year and is expanding, a new post has been created to manage a portfolio of newly secured contracts., The newly created Contracts Manager role will be responsible for managing a portfolio of the College's externally funded contracts. The role involves working with the Head of External Funding & Contracts and other managers across the Group to ensure the requirements of externally funded contracts are fulfilled, contract delivery is compliant and income is maximised. Stakeholder relationship management - internally and externally - are a critical part of the role. The role will initially be responsible for the contract management of the Group's Skills Bootcamps contracts with the Department for Education and North East Combined Authority.
