Full Job Description

This is a new and exciting senior role within our rapidly expanding charity. The contracts manager will have wide ranging responsibilities for the performance and development of the Ascent Ending Harmful Practices Programme and contracts management.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and ensure delivery of the Ascent Ending Harmful Practices project and assist with other contracts management at the AWRC.

  • Develop the partnership and ensure that collective delivery targets are delivered.

  • Convene and lead Ascent Harmful Practices Steering Group meetings

  • Create annual work plans for partner agencies, if required.

  • Conduct monitoring visits with partners to go through performance and how outcome indicators are evidenced annually.

  • Send out and collate quarterly and annual monitoring requirements to partners; consolidate data and upload on the London Councils superhighways portal.

  • Work with VAWG borough leads across London to promote the project

  • Deliver presentations on the project across London with the view to strengthen referral pathways across London.

  • Lead and build effective partnerships in boroughs of operation, working in conjunction with other partners

  • Ensure service level agreements are in place with partners and key stakeholders

  • Ensure service standards are maintained.

  • Production, implementation and monitoring of operational work plans and budgets

  • Contribute to short and long-term organisational planning and strategy.

  • Periodically undertake analysis of performance with the view of recommending improvements.

  • To ensure the service is responsive to, and meets the needs of, all women accessing services.

  • Deliver training on harmful practices
