Full Job Description

A 6-month fixed term opportunity has arisen within NHS Kent and Medway Integrated Care Board for a Band 5 Contracts Officer. The Contracting Team is based at our Ashford site: Kent House 81 Station Road Ashford Kent TN23 1PJ.

The ICB is on a national Atamis contract management system. The system allows all contract information and documents to be held in one place.

The postholder will be an Atamis Superuser and will be responsible for the transfer of documentation onto the system, ensuring the database is up to date and accessible to all to enable accurate reporting. As an Officer role, you will be expected to engage with ICB Teams, provide support, advice and training to promote User adoption of the new system, as well as find opportunities for the ICB to make best use of the technology., Quality review of the Contract Register ensuring contract database is up to date, complete and accurate.

Locate and upload relevant contract documentation onto Atamis.

Produce user guides and other content for ongoing training relating to the ICBs contract database.

Promote adoption, provide training and support to existing and new users.

Produce project plan and report on progress for all contracts.

You are not expected to be an expert in Atamis, but you must a self-starter, with attention to detail, methodical and who can work with multiple teams.

This profile is intended to provide a broad outline of the role. The post holder may be required to carry out other duties commensurate with their banding and competence.

The post holder will need to have good IT/digital literacy, strong interpersonal skills to support other users and an excellent eye for detail. The right candidate will also need the ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
