What you'll doNotting Hill Genesis, one of London's largest housing associations, are looking for 3 Contracts Officers to join our busy M&E Compliance Team. As a Contracts Officer, you will work mainly on managing specific contractors delivering servicing programs, FRAS and reactive works in one of the following workstreams:

  • Electrical (EICRS, EML and PAT testing)
  • Fire (Fire alarms, AOVs, sprinklers etc) or Sewage pumps
  • lightening Protection
  • Mansafe and static sites (large Estates that have a main contractor), This role will be based in our Kings Cross office for 3 days of the week and the remaining two days you will be expected to work from home although that may be flexible and subject to change. How you'll do itAs a Contracts Officer you will ensure that all our servicing is 100% compliant each month and any FRAs linked to these components are managed directly with the contractors. You will be working directly with contractors and leading on weekly contract review meetings in one of these workstreams. This is an exciting opportunity to learn all about the various components and be part of a larger team within M&E Compliance. You will be the main point of contact for operational colleagues, contractors, stakeholders and residents for queries relating to your contracts or workstream. Stakeholder management is key in this role and you will be working closely across the various tenures. You will be expected to deliver services that provide value for money for our residents and business and meet

    budget expectations.   • Experience in contract management, project management or similar role.
  • Strong negotiation and procurement skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in contract regulations
  • Experience in formulating specifications, managing schedules of works and technical diagnosis
  • Financial management ensuring our Contractors are paid on time
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Effective IT skills including intermediate MS Office skills
