We have an exciting opportunity for a CCTV Controller at one of our prestigious Shopping Centres. As a controller, you will be expected to show complete dedication to the role. The role will involve all aspects of control room-based duties, including:

• Monitoring CCTV systems.


• Dealing with alarm activations.


• Communicating with staff, contractors, and emergency services.


• Providing a customer-focused control room service.


Main Duties

• Monitoring and operating the site CCTV systems including associated reports.


• Responding to emergency situations & liaising with emergency services.


• Reporting and associated paperwork & documentation including detailed handovers.


• Knowledge and associated reporting on the contractual agreement, Service Level Agreements (SLAs) & 'Key Performance Indicators' (KPI's).


• Operating the client and company procedures and processes.


• Managing the fire alarm tests, monitoring & evacuation procedure.


• Attending, representing & actively taking part in all required meetings.


• Defect reporting and associated actions and follow-ups.


• Maintaining the standards of the Security for access/egress and visitor regulation.


• Responding to requests & resolving issues within the agreed SLA time frames.


• Undertaking duties on the shop floor as a frontline officer.


What We Are Looking For

• Retail Security experience.


• Flexible approach to work to suit the business needs.


• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.


• Calm under pressure.


• Essential: CCTV experience.


• Comprehensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, and Word.


• Ability to work as part of a team as well as an individual.


• Essential: Strong systems experience (e.g., CCTV, Access Control).


• Essential: CCTV License.
