Full Job Description
Integrated Visual Protection Limited are currently seeking an enthusiastic, focused, and knowledgeable Alarm Receiving Centre Operator (ARCO) to join the Company at our offices based in SE7, Charlton, London. The Alarm Receiving Centre is staffed 24-hours per day, 7 days per week. The ARCO is responsible for using best practices to identify, analyse, and support all incidents that are either impactful or potentially impactful to our customers, our brand and or our employees. The successful candidate will monitor vehicles using the most modern satellite tracking solutions and make contact with customers and Companies by telephone/email where anomalies are identified. The ARCO will escalate both crisis and non-crisis incidents to the relevant stakeholders. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Answering and making telephone calls, monitoring of vehicle tracking systems and providing general assistance to both our customers and our employees. Liaising with Law Enforcement authorities in a fast paced environment. Maintaining various records of communications and events. Communicating and disseminating information, using established communication systems, as appropriate. Acting as a liaison between our customers and the Company. Escalating (without delay) complaints and unusual/critical event information to the Customer Services Manager. Accurately maintaining control of all equipment and keys in the Alarm Receiving Centre. Proactively monitoring all customers' vehicles/tracked property. Monitoring and responding to all alerts in a timely fashion. Answering and responding to events and situations received over regular and emergency telephones.
Advanced computer skills and proficiency. Excellent verbal and communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Self-motivated and able to work under little to no direct supervision. Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to multi-ask, discerning patterns in detail. Think through problems for logical solutions and remain calm and professional under stress. Strong decision-making ability during both crisis and non-crisis situations. Able to work with highly confidential information. Must be able to speak clearly, give direction, and provide guidance to people during emergencies. Able to work and communicate effectively with all levels of leadership. Desirable Experience and Qualifications: Experience working within an Alarm Receiving Centre or a Security Control Room. A valid SIA Licence is mandatory for this position.
