We are recruiting for a Country Controller, to partner with the Commercial Country Leader and Regional Controller, to drive the financial journey of the assigned countries (UK & Ireland), with full responsibility over the P&L.

This role will be a key business partner to commercial and finance leadership, ensuring financial compliance with all relevant internal and external standards, driving compliant bottom-line management and overseeing all value creation activities (such as bonus plans, recruitment, payroll etc.) in the country scope.

This role can be based in either Maidenhead or Solihull.

What you will need

  • Degree level in a relevant discipline

  • Significant experience in a similar fast-paced role, in a corporate environment (medtech advantageous).

  • Demonstrated proven financial influencing skills at management level, with a track record of strong business-partnering and driving change amongst peers and leaders.

  • Proven mastery on large data handling and tool-driven data analysis. Advanced Excel user, with data-cube system experience (Hyperion, Dodeca, etc.)

  • A solid level of accounting and compliance experience

  • Ambitious, curious, with a process improvement mindset

  • A team player who works well within a matrix organisation.

  • What you will do
  • Accountable for the development and the delivery of all LBE commitments during the year (process as well as content). Ensure strong operational discipline for all finance-driven processes across the organization.

  • Ensure full financial compliance with all activities in scope.

  • Identify need for data to support decisions and drive the decision making process and partner successfully with commercial leadership.

  • Provide ongoing standard analysis on all levels of the P&L, mainly revenue, margin and operating expenses. Develop mitigation plans where needed to offset risks.

  • Proactively drive new ways of looking at the results and commitments. Closely collaborate with the regional leadership team to drive value creation through FP&A work and identify specific projects together with the leadership team to further drive value creation.

  • Take ownership on all tasks that directly influence the P&L and bring the experts to the table across expertise groups and functions and support their understanding.

  • As you'd expect from an innovative global health care company, we offer excellent salaries and a competitive range of benefits including a defined-contribution pension scheme, private healthcare, life assurance, and a flexible benefits scheme.
