Full Job Description

We are seeking a Conversion Manager to lead communications and activities that support converting postgraduate offer holders into enrolled students from around the world.
You will develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive programme of online and in-person recruitment events. This will include overseeing LSHTM's in-person open evenings, annual virtual open days, keep-warm communications, and student ambassador initiatives. You will also be managing LSHTM's online student communities and supporting colleagues in student recruitment and marketing efforts.
You will play a critical strategic role in implementing customer relationship management (CRM) and digital engagement strategies for prospective students. They will be responsible for designing an engaging applicant journey that spans from initial inquiry to final enrollment. This involves carefully identifying and optimising customer touchpoints across all communication channels, effectively communicating LSHTM's brand, programme offerings, and student experience, with the ultimate goal of maximising conversion rates at every stage of the student recruitment process.
You need to educated to a degree level or equivalent with substantial experience. You'll need strong communication skills and a track record of engaging audiences through successful events and well-developed communication plans along with outstanding attention to detail and accuracy.
Experience in building effective relationships with colleagues across the institution will be important. You'll take a proactive approach to monitoring and analysing conversion activities, helping us understand and improve our recruitment strategies.
This is a role for someone who enjoys being part of a small, friendly, and supportive team. You'll work collaboratively, sharing ideas and supporting your colleagues while helping potential students navigate their journey to enrollment.
The post is full-time 35 hours per week, 1 FTE and permanent.

The salary will be on the Professional Services salary scale, Grade 5 in the range £39,182 - £44,847 per annum (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service. Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part time staff. In addition to this there are discretionary "Wellbeing Days". Membership of the Pension Scheme is available. The post is based in London.
