Full Job Description
- To plan and provide nutritious meals for Patrons and Team Members on a daily basis.
- To ensure food purchased is fresh and within budget.
- To ensure all Health & Safety and Environmental Health standards are achieved and maintained.
- To ensure that all kitchen equipment is maintained in good working order and to report any defects to management.
- Plan, prepare, cook and present balanced meals and beverages to the highest standard.
- Cater for cultural and dietary needs, choice and preference of Patrons and Team Members.
- Direct and supervise all kitchen staff, ensuring compliance with their responsibilities with regard to Food Hygiene and Health & Safety requirements.
- Manage and maintain accurate stock control.
- Check and maintain First Aid equipment within the kitchen.
- Monitor temperature controls.
- Keep accurate HACCP records in line with current Food Hygiene regulations.
