GLENHURST LODGE CARE HOME IS LOOKING FOR A COOK TO JOIN THEIR TEAM, COOKING FOR OUR RESIDENTS MONDAY TO FRIDAY BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 9-3., Nutrition is an important part of providing the perfect care to our service users, and the Cook does just this! You will have all dietary requirements/ cultural requirements, and a genuine interest in the wellbeing of our service users, to serve up meals following these guidelines., o Preparing nutritious meals for service users in line with guidelines/ requirements
o Daily cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen and equipment
o Maintain inventory of kitchen equipment and produce
o Utilise knowledge of HACCP and current food regulations
o Interaction with service users to reflect their food choices

o Food hygiene level 2 certification
o Previous experience of food preparation in a commercial/ domestic/ hospital or care setting
o Warm, approachable personality to engage with service users and vulnerable adults with ease
o Confident managing kitchen alone including cleanliness
