This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Adult Social Services Team.

You will be required to carry out your duties in a dignified / respectful manner. Experience of working in a care environment and knowledge of COSHH, Food Safety Act and Health and Safety would be beneficial although not essential. You must have knowledge of the principles that underpin quality care e.g. dignity, choice etc. adopt a person centred approach and be courteous and responsive to the needs of individuals.

For the role, we ask that you have:

A Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
A wiliness to work towards QCF/NVQ level 2/3 in Catering, within specified timeframes. (If not in receipt of)
Able to prepare a large quantity of meals in a professional catering environment, maintaining cleanliness and high standards of hygiene., Disability Confident

We pay an attractive salary of £8,891.89 - £9,040.59 and offer access to training and development opportunities.
