Today our free care supports 2,000 local people and their families, in Herts and Bucks. We truly are a community hospice
- built and funded by the community, to serve the community., We are looking for an experienced Cook to help our small friendly kitchen team, on an ad-hoc basis, preparing food for patients, visitors and staff.

The food we provide is a highly valued part of our service, making a real difference to our patients, families, staff and visitors. The team also provides catering to Hospice functions, as and when required.

People are at the heart of everything we do. And you would be no different. In this role you will have regular contact with patients, their families and visitors, therefore a friendly, caring and approachable manner is essential, with the resilience to work in a Hospice setting.

Assisting the Catering Manager and/or Senior Cook in providing a nutritious, well-balanced diet for patients, staff and visitors to a high standard of preparation and within budgetary requirements.
