Full Job Description

Day to day running of the kitchen and ensuring that food is presented to a high standard.
Monitoring of portion size.
Washing, Peeling and Chopping
Helping to prepare salads and desserts
Preparing of dishes on the menu and ensuring dishes are served in a timely manner.
Completing relevant paperwork and ensuring records are updated as required.

Curlew Cafe High farm holiday park is known for its high-quality customer service, food, relaxing stays and on-site events and animal paddocks. As a growing family business, we are driven to provide a high-quality experience in all we offer.

We have a great opportunity for an experienced cook/chef to join the team. You will ensure our menus are prepared and served to the highest standards. You will play a fundamental part in ensuring that all food is well prepared and served in good time.

This role will require a minimum of 32 hours per week with plenty of opportunity to work overtime during busy periods. You must be able to work weekends and have a passion for providing high quality food in a fast-paced environment.

Skills required:

Experience in working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and serving up a variety of dishes.
Good understanding of HACCP, allergens, and portion control.
Level 2 in Basic Food Hygiene.
Must be able to remain calm under pressure.
