Full Job Description

We are recruiting for a Cook to join our Catering team where you will support the delivery of an efficient, flexible, modern customer focused catering service, to all students, staff and visitors. As a Cook your duties will include:

  • Undertaking responsibility for day-to-day management of food production
  • Rotating stock as per established procedures
  • Properly storing food items at appropriate temperatures
  • Ordering new ingredients as required
  • Ensure day to day practices within the kitchen meet all regulations, including food safety, and health and safety
  • Responsibility for ensuring excellent food hygiene practices across the food production areas.

    We are looking for someone with experience in a professional catering environment, along with experience in customer service. You should hold a Level 2 in Food Hygiene, or be willing to work towards this. In addition, you should have a good level of Maths and English, and be able to work well within a team.
