We have an exciting opportunity at our school site in London (EC3A) for a Cook to join the team at Accent. This is a full time position working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 2:30pm - term-time only (38.2 weeks per year) - so all the school holidays off! Starting as soon as possible. The food offer is fresh food cooked from scratch so excellent culinary skills are required with a passion for giving children the best possible lunch experience. You will also be cooking for teachers and support staff. You will be working with a team of staff and supporting senior chefs with day-to-day kitchen duties, reporting to the Chef Manager.

• Be an absolute foodie with a chef background, this is a very-hands on role and you will be required to cook.
• Ensure high standards of food presentation, cooking and presentation are maintained
• Be able to create innovative, exciting menu items that appeal to our customers while keeping within budgets
• Proven track record in a high volume, quality catering establishment
• Good communication and customer relation skills, ensuring a professional and friendly attitude is maintained towards your team
and clients
• Willing to learn and grow in the workplace including helping the team to grow and providing training when needed
• Assisting the Chef Manager with recruitment, selection and induction
• Proven track record of continually improving standards and hygiene and achieving targets is essential
This is a customer facing position so in addition to the above you will also need good communication skills to ensure a good client relationship and be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the English language. Cooking experience required.
