It's an exciting time to join our two organisations, Dorset County Hospital and Dorset HealthCare, as we build on our new joint leadership model to help improve the health and wellbeing of our local communities., The recently appointed Joint Executive Director of Corporate Affairs is building a single Corporate Affairs team to work across both organisations and is now seeking to appoint a Corporate Affairs Apprentice to work with the Governor and Membership Manager across both Trusts. Working closely with the Council of Governors in Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Dorset Healthcare University NHS Foundation Trust this is an exciting role, offering the opportunity to work across two organisations and to allow the post holder to develop and experience a broad range of activities supporting both Councils of Governors and supporting wider membership engagement., You will undertake an apprenticeship in Business and Administration to gain a formal level 3 qualification whist gaining workplace skills through supporting the administration and implementation of the of the Trust's corporate governance agenda in relation to the Council of Governors and the Membership at Dorset County Hospital and Dorset HealthCare.

The post holder will assist the Governor and membership manager to ensure that both Council of Governors and all related sub-groups operate smoothly and effectively and in accordance with legislative and regulatory requirements. To assist corporate governance activities in relation to the Governors and Membership are undertaken to the highest standards of probity and according to regulatory and legislative requirements.

You will be a valued member of our busy and friendly team and contribute to the effective and smooth running of our service, maintaining excellent working relationships through effective communication.
