Full Job Description

The post holder delivers end-user support and training, and all processes relating to application management for one or more corporate digital applications within the team's portfolio. The post-holder will investigate, manage and resolve issues and problems raised against their portfolio, liaising with third-party system suppliers as necessary. The post-holder will assist in the development of specifications for any change requests set against the team's application portfolio. The post holder will support strategic planning relating the current and future configuration of the corporate application portfolio and will engage in a variety of work streams within wider Digital Services projects or programmes. The post holder will also deliver training programmes for the application portfolio to ensure that business processes are optimised.,

  • End-user Support - Deliver a customer-focused response to incidents and other requests raised through the Digital Services help desk
  • or other means for a portfolio of applications managed by the team.
  • Problem Management - Provides 2nd line support and troubleshooting to resolve user issues and data quality matters.
  • Configuration Management - The post holder will work as part of a multidisciplinary team providing first line and remote system support
  • and configuration for N365, Teams, One Drive, SharePoint, PowerApps, Power BI and Flow (Power Automate) and other web apps as they become available.
  • IT Operations Control - Monitor performance against a range of KPIs designed for the application portfolio covering user access, data
  • quality and system integrity, providing reports to Digital Services management as required.
  • Applications Strategy - Investigate existing and future functionality, providing the Trust with opportunities to expand on functionality,
  • maximising value for money and the benefits realisation of the applications as a major business critical investment.
