Full Job Description

The Corporate Assurance Officer works across multiple functions to provide administrative support across our functions as required. The role has particular emphasis on managing key assurance meetings, maintaining action logs and following up responses, supporting incident management processes and managing a number of shared mailboxes.,

  • Manage CARS team shared mailboxes, acting as a point of contact, triaging incoming mail, responding to routine queries and escalating other matters appropriately.
  • Provide support to National Health & Safety Committee, Information, Risk and Security Working Group and Risk & Assurance Working Group. Support will include taking minutes, coordinating meetings, maintaining action logs and facilitating the work of these committees.
  • Provide support to LAA's incident response process, standing up incident response meetings, taking minutes, preparing and maintaining action logs, providing briefing notes and assisting with post-incident processes such as lessons learned exercises.
  • Logging and managing responses to routine security incidents, escalating non-routine incidents as required.
  • Acting as an administrator for H&S training, assessment and record systems.
  • Maintaining records of and facilitating inductions for new LAA staff
  • Provide support to Information Assurance, Health & Safety, Business Continuity, Risk and Assurance functions as required for specific projects and exercises to support the work of a CARS function or wider CARS team objectives
  • Other work as required to support the overall objectives of CARS., You've been serving overseas with HM Forces or in some other official capacity as a representative of HM Government
  • You were studying abroad
  • You were living overseas with parents

  • Experience of minute taking or committee administration, To apply for roles in MOJ you will need to confirm your employment history for at least 3 years prior to the date of application so that pre-employment checks (BPSS) can be undertaken. To meet CTC/SC/DV requirements you will normally need to have been resident in the UK for at least 3/5/10 years prior to the date of application (The level of checks that are required are stated in the advert).

    The national salary range is £27,223 - £28,613, London salary range is £31,169 - £32,760 . Your salary will be dependent on your base location
