Full Job Description

  • Client Relationship Management: Assist in maintaining and developing relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and engagement.

  • Proposal Preparation: Support in the preparation of client proposals and pitches to secure new business and sustain ongoing engagements.

  • Transaction Execution: Aid the client team in the successful execution of transactions such as capital raisings and mergers & acquisitions, including preparation and review of transaction documentation.

  • Market Communication: Assist in reviewing client communications with the market to ensure clarity and compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Regulatory Advice: Provide clients with timely advice on market and regulatory issues, ensuring they are well-informed to make strategic decisions.

  • Investor Relations: Support client teams in managing corporate clients' relationships with investors and the marketplace.

  • Sector Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of sector trends, market practices, and commercial awareness to enhance service delivery.

  • Internal Collaboration: Understand and leverage Investec's broader capabilities to enhance client solutions.

  • CRM Management: Ensure all communications with clients and intermediaries are appropriately captured in the CRM system.

  • Administrative Support: Assist the PLC Advisory team with administrative responsibilities including maintaining pitch materials and managing team agendas.

  • Professional Development: Actively work on upskilling and expanding personal knowledge of investment banking.

    Financial Expertise: Strong proficiency in financial analysis, valuation, and modelling techniques.

  • Technical Skills: Excellent command of PowerPoint, Excel, and other presentation tools.

  • Client Interaction: Effective skills in client interaction for business generation and execution.

  • IT Proficiency: Ability to use relevant IT applications efficiently.
