Full Job Description

This position has arisen as our long-standing commercial Partner and CEO is retiring. The department has a solid foundation in corporate/commercial work, and it is viewed as a growth area for the firm. Therefore, you would have the unique opportunity to grow the department and create innovative services with a view to building your own team as a long-term objective. We would support you with business development and marketing as required. We also have experienced Employment and Commercial Property departments to assist on transactions.

We would like to fill this role promptly so we can ensure a carefully managed handover period with the current Partner who is due to retire in the spring 2025.

This role would be to service both of our offices and would be based primarily in our Petersfield office.

We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Corporate/Commercial lawyer to join our firm based in Hampshire and West Sussex. Ideally you have a minimum of 4 + years PQE although our focus is on securing the right candidate so other experience will be considered.

You will have excellent communication, drafting, and negotiation skills and the ability to manage multiple transactions while prioritising work effectively. You will also have a client-focused, commercially aware approach when providing advice whilst maintaining high levels of client service.
