Full Job Description

We have a great opportunity for a Corporate Communications Executive to join our Corporate Communications team. This role is based in Birmingham and sits within our Business Development team. As a Corporate Communications Executive, you will be responsible for supporting internal client groups to meet their business objectives with a particular focus on traditional PR and media responsibilities working to deliver outstanding media relations results for the firm.

Within this role you will be require the ability to produce a high volume of excellent written copy, often to tight deadlines, detailed proofreading, project support and outstanding client handling skills. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain the team's high standards of technical and service excellence., We are looking for someone who is educated to degree level or equivalent experience, with an understanding of the strategic value of communications. Within this role you will work with a variety of individuals and therefore you will be required to be a self-motivated team player used to working under pressure from multiple clients and delivering excellent client service. To succeed in this role, you will be required to have a strong interest in current affairs and the daily news agenda, presenting creative thinking and outstanding writing skills, with faultless grammar and spelling, continually looking to improve knowledge in the relevant areas. The role requires the ability to produce a high volume of excellent media materials and coverage - often to tight deadlines and therefore proven experience of securing coverage in national broadsheet and broadcast media is desirable.
