Full Job Description

The Corporate Governance Administrative Officer role is an interesting and varied job which will give you an opportunity to work closely with teams across the Trust including our Executive and Non-Executives & Council of Governors. The post holder will work closely with the Foundation & Deputy Foundation Trust Secretary and the Corporate Governance Team to ensure an efficient approach to freedom of information requests and a high level of administrative support is provided.

This is a whole time equivalent role, but we are open to discussions regarding job shares/flexible working., This is a summary of the main tasks; full details can be found in the attached job description.
+ Be the main point of contact for administration of the Freedom of Information Process
+ Provide specialist administrative support to the Corporate Governance Team.
+ Support the Foundation & Deputy Foundation Trust Secretary's in the administration of the Board process.
+ Assist the Governor & Membership Officer in the production of governor and membership meetings and events and support the administration of all Governor & Membership activity.
+ Receive general queries by phone, email or in person.
+ To maintain filing systems and electronic databases., These documents contain a full detailed description of the role and what the main responsibilities and duties are along with the criteria required.
The tasks you will be required to support are varied and will change depending on the priorities of the Corporate Governance team throughout the year. However, much of your portfolio will be on a cyclical/regular basis linked to due dates for Freedom of Information requests and the Board & Council of Governors meeting schedule. You will have the ability to manage your workload independently within the parameters of deadlines set.
