Full Job Description
The Assurance Directorate has an opportunity for an individual to take on the role of Corporate Governance Officer (Band 6). This post-holder will work within the Corporate Governance Team to support the Trust Board and Executive Team on key governance arrangements., The Corporate Governance Manager plays a key role in ensuring the corporate governance of the Trust is efficiently and effectively run through committee servicing and business management, knowledge and dissemination of best practice, and attention to detail.
We are looking for a creative and logical thinker who will bring a proactive and analytical attitude to addressing issues and who is enthusiastic about the efficient and effective operation of governance in a large and complex organisation. If you have excellent communication, administrative, organisational and IT skills, along with the ability to prioritise and demonstrate initiative and work proactively with a high degree of professionalism, then we would be very pleased to hear from you., Do you have the experience and ability to manage complex processes?
Are you confident servicing high-level committees, to a tight timescale, with confidence to take initiative when required?
Are you a team player with the ability to build relationships at all levels?, Previous corporate governance experience in a public sector organisation and a good knowledge of corporate governance best practice are highly desirable.
