Full Job Description

We're recruiting for graduates to join our Corporate Quality team at the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking, Surrey. As a Corporate Quality Graduate, you will develop your skills in our quality, cost, and regulatory environments. Please note this position is on-site 5 days a week at the McLaren Technology Centre, to best facilitate your learning and development during the scheme. The closing date for applications is Friday, 15th November 2024. Virtual first stage interviews will take place in early January 2025, with the second stage of the process being on-site assessment centres in late January/early February. What You'll Do As a Corporate Quality Graduate, you will be gaining valuable experience within our Quality team. This will include working in these key areas:

  • Technical & Programme Quality: Governance of overall programme quality, fault management and Q-Gate release as well as delivering technical quality support to the respective functional stakeholders in the business, ensuring a cohesive and aligned approach.
  • Vehicle Line Quality (VLQ): Ensuring McLaren vehicles meet the highest quality standards through inspection, testing, fault management, analysis, and warranty interrogation.
  • Product Quality Standards: Perceived quality is the attribute that significantly improves the tangible worth of our products, through collaboration across Engineering, Design, Marketing and Quality including tolerance stack analysis.
  • Total Quality Management (TQM): Ensuring McLaren vehicles comply with international regulations and safety standards along with governance of change control.
  • Materials Engineering / Laboratory: Advise the design office upon material selection for new components together with research and development of new materials and processes to achieve superior performance/cost saving benefits. Conduct failure analysis upon in service components to enhance durability. Manage and distribute material property data via database software to engineering function groups.
  • What You'll Bring We would be looking for you to have achieved, or be on track to achieve, at least a 2:1 in a STEM or Business degree.
