Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Apprenticeship

A Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability apprentice is responsible for developing and implementing policies that promote ethical business practices, environmental consciousness, and social responsibility. They ensure compliance with relevant laws and standards, engage with stakeholders, and oversee initiatives to reduce environmental impact. Duties typically include:

- Developing policies relating to a company's ethical, sustainable and environmental responsibilities
- Ensuring a company has a positive impact on local communities and the environment
- Raising public awareness of a company's social responsibility commitments through marketing
- Conducting research into best practice
- Writing and actioning a company's social responsibility strategy
- Creating partnerships with clients, employees, suppliers, charities, and other groups
- Ensuring that a company's policies meet legal and commercial needs
- Organising events for employees and their teams
- Encouraging links between the company and educational or charitable groups
- Reporting on social responsibility activity to senior managers.
- Monitoring achievement against project planning requirements

- A love of variety in a role and ability to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced working environment
- Ability to quickly prioritise tasks and the initiative to dive head-first into problem solving
- No two days are the same on the front line and not every day goes to plan, so you'll need to be quick on your feet to respond!
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills and enjoy working with multiple teams
- Ability to analyse and interpret information and effectively communicate this to different team members and audiences
- Ability to visit different sites and training days
- Curiosity to learn quickly in a reactive and dynamic working environment.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions to serve our customers and protect the environment

- Able to understand and follow health and safety protocols, English and Maths at GCSE Grade 4 / C or above, or Functional Skills at Level 2 or above.

Eligibility
To start this apprenticeship, you'll need to be:

- Living in England for the last 3 years and have right to work status
- Not enrolled on any other courses
- 18+ due to site H&S rules
