Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Group Corporate Sales Manager to join our group of hotels, namely The Windmill Village Hotel, The Manor Hotel, and the National Conference Centre, working over all our sites.

The successful candidate will be an experienced individual who understands the corporate market, especially ful

l service/corporate/lifestyle, and who can recognise opportunities to grow existing key accounts, identify new key accounts and source new business. Has established key corporate and travel management company account relationships with local and global key account corporate travel managers.

As Corporate Sales Manager you will be responsible for maintaining and growing relationships ensuring maximum profitability for the group. Account Management and Business Development skills are required in equal measure.

Key duties will include:

  • Proactively uncover new prospects for the Group and maximise conversion of business in line with the group's budgetary goals.

  • Organise and plan fam trips, site inspections, sales blitzes, mailings, giveaways, and other new creative activities to establish and maintain a healthy client relationship and generate business.

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences, adapting sales strategies accordingly.

  • Support the annual RFP Season process.

  • Manage both existing and prospective (new) key account relations and volume contract agreements that can achieve preferred status for the Group.

  • Lead, negotiate and execute Business Travel Sales contracts and preferred status arrangements.

  • Prepare and present proposals/pitches to new/prospect key accounts & customers.

  • Engage in proactive sales activities, sales calls, trade shows, etc. and report regularly on booking progress, key account production and market share.

  • Attend routine sales strategy, business assessment & revenue maximization meetings to understand profitable and desired business, rate guidelines/direction and competitive tracking.

    A background in hotel sales with experience from the corporate sector.

  • A positive and pro-active personality with a passion for developing existing client relationships.


  • Proven corporate travel sales experience in a hotel or multi-hotel environment.


  • Business agency experience

  • Previous team management experience, with a focus on supportive and developing team members.
