Full Job Description

The team forms part of the 449 strong UK wide, Project Management & Building Consultancy Group across the UK and Ireland., Supporting and working with the head of the team in the direct day to day management of the local team ensuring resources are managed and coordinated and that projects are delivered in accordance with CBRE technical and corporate standards.

Capable senior project and cost manager with the ability to deliver project work from inception to completion with the minimum of supervision to meet the project objectives and in accordance with company policies across a range of sectors. Able to cover both Project Management and Cost Management disciplines.

Operate within the local market including networking and marketing to build the profile of the team. Identify and win new business.

Form part of the National Offices Project & Cost Management Group and assist with the overall growth of the Project & Cost Management business.

MRICS qualified Quantity Surveyor with at least 10 years relevant post qualification commercial surveying experience;

Good appreciation of professional and project-based matters;

Looks for opportunities to bring and build value, delivering client solutions which exceed expectations.

Ability to build teams appropriate the delivery of client advice, with correct mixes of experience, skills and commerciality.

Good communication and interpersonal skills;

Able to work as part of a team, supporting colleagues;

Able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a project;

Present a professional knowledgeable persona and possess business acumen;

Build, develop and maintain existing business and client relationships;

Organise and prioritise tasks so that they are completed within an agreed time frame;

Provide concise and clear written communication;

Understand the basics of the local and wider property market and CBRE's services;

Able to contribute to business development activities;

Able to plan and manage own workload;

Able to delegate whilst maintaining accountability and ensuring delivery;

Computer literate including Word, Excel and ideally MS Project;

Ability to prioritise and co-ordinate tasks efficiently ensuring all deadlines are met;

Accurate and excellent attention to detail;

Pro-active and enjoys working as part of a wider team;

Confident and assertive where required;

Sociable and outgoing;

Flexible approach to work;

Good role model for the team;

Understands and appreciates the importance of using discretion;

Team player who deals effectively with colleagues and clients;

Clean driving license.
