Due to our continued growth, Pick Everard are looking for a Senior Cost Manager to lead and shape a diverse range of projects in Leicester and throughout the Midlands region. We work across sectors, including healthcare, education, commercial, residential, defence and heritage. Take a look at some of our projects: Discover our projects - Pick Everard As a Senior Cost Manager, you will carry out audits, cost checks, reviews of construction and FM contracts and ensure commissions are delivered on time. You'll have the opportunity to lead on the bid process and undertake a range of business development. You will also play an active role in mentoring more junior level of staff on a day to day basis, helping with the overall growth of the cost management team. Within the role, you will be in full control and have ownership over your projects; providing you with a great level of autonomy. Our ideal Senior Cost Manager must have:

  • Significant experience delivering cost management of building projects from feasibility/option studies through to detailed cost planning and post contract cost management.
  • Thorough knowledge of the principal standard forms of building contracts, including JCT and NEC3
  • A commitment to delivering a high-quality client experience
  • Multi-sector background gained in consultancy or construction environment
  • It would be nice for you to have:
  • MRICS / Chartered Surveyor status
  • A professional and compassionate attitude
  • Excellent client communication skills, report writing skills and presentation skills
