Counsellor (Children & Adults)

Provide counselling support to patients, families, carers & friends, both pre and post death, at level 3 of the NICE guidance for psychological support Provide support to those living with a progressive or life-limiting illness. Work jointly within the Multidisciplinary team to provide emotional support to patients, relatives, and carers of all ages. This may be in various settings, i.e. community, impatient unit etc. To manage a caseload of clients To work with external health, social care services, other professional and voluntary organisations where required To identify risk to vulnerable people, following safeguarding policies and procedures
