Counter Sales Assistant

As the counter salesperson, you will aim to maintain a high standard of customer service at all times, make sure costumer orders are completed to the customers satisfaction among other customer focused work tasks. We are looking for someone who will maintain a clean and safe working environment and who will be an asset to the day to day running of the branch.

The success candidate will require:

Customer Service

· Customer orders completed to customers satisfaction

· invoices are correctly raised

· Credit control limits are followed

· Bad Debts minimised

Goods Inward

· Goods received in accordance with Company Purchase Order

· Stocks are correctly stored and retrieved safely and efficiently.

· Discrepancies / Breakages / theft are prevented / quickly discovered

· Stock Records are correct and up to date

Cash and Cheques

· Takings are correctly recorded

· Cash is kept secure

Health & Safety

· The counter and shop area and warehouse are always kept in a tidy presentable manner in compliance with legal & Health & Safety requirements

· You & your work colleagues adhere to Company Health & Safety Policies & Procedures

Also, to carry out further tasks that may from time to time be delegated to you by your superior.
