The Country Marketing Manager North Europe for Leica Biosystems is responsible for achieving the North Europe Marketing revenue goals by working in collaboration with the Commercial Directors and the Commercial team to execute the Marketing Strategy and plan in the North Europe Region, executing country-level marketing initiatives and promotional tools that meet customer requirements, as well as marketing and business targets.

This position is part of the EMEA Selling Unit North Europe located in Milton Keynes (UK) and Amsterdam (The Netherlands) and will be fully remote based in the UK.At Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives.

You will be a part of the EMEA Marketing Team and report to the Marketing Director EMEA responsible for the LBS Marketing Strategy in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). If you thrive in a fast-paced role and want to be part of building a world-class marketing organization-read on.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop and implement country marketing programs (campaigns, virtual events, trade shows, symposiums) promoting the LBS product portfolio to new and existing customers

  • Responsible for adapting global/regional campaigns and programs for execution in the country to effectively drive demand generation

  • Identify and participate in external events (i.e., customer symposiums, user group meetings) to drive customer engagement

  • Gather and communicates market and customer insights, increase market visibility, and analyze country market segmentation and market share (i.e., Mekko)

  • Analyze and report marketing programs efficiency and adjust strategy and tactics to increase effectiveness

  • Manages opportunity funnel for digital leads and monitors win/loss; follows standard work and drives countermeasures to ensure high conversion rates

  • Execution of Launch Excellence Standard Work to drive impactful launches and deliver incremental revenue, Define, monitor and countermeasure leading and lagging launch KPI's, Provide country level pre-work input in product launches. Manage product launch activities and forecasts

    Relevant marketing experience in the healthcare market, preferably in the IVDR market in the UK

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships both inside and outside the organization - ability to work effectively in a matrix structure and be accountable for delivering business results

  • Strong process orientation, problem solving and troubleshooting skills and a firm commitment to quality

  • Demonstrates high level of engagement, energy and a sense of urgency and the flexibility needed to achieve results

  • Works with integrity and understands compliance requirements


  • It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
  • Life Science marketing

  • Indirect Channel Marketing
